Research Prizes and Awards
The University of Ottawa is home to many young, mid-career, and well-established research leaders and innovators who receive acknowledgement for their research achievements, ranging from university-based awards to provincial, national, and international awards, as well as discipline-specific recognition. These distinctions are further confirmation of the University’s ranking as one of Canada’s top research-intensive universities and underline the commitment of its professors to research excellence.
Young Researcher Award
The Young Researcher of the Year Award is presented annually to faculty members who have made exceptional contributions to research and the training of students at the University of Ottawa. Two prizes are awarded: one in the humanities and social sciences and the other in the pure and applied sciences. For more information on the Young Researcher Award
Database
The Office of Research Chairs, Centres and Awards has made a comprehensive list of awards available to uOttawa researchers, employees and affiliated medical institutes. The list includes most disciplines, as well as provincial, national and international opportunities.

- Your username: The information that precedes the @ in your uOttawa email address.
