Right of appeal

A decision of a Research Ethics Board may be appealed to the Appeal Board. In the case of an investigator whose project was not approved or whose work was discontinued because of ethical concerns, the appeal must be submitted in writing to the Vice-Rector, Research, within thirty (30) working days following the decision.

Appeals and complaints regarding any project from investigators, members of the staff, students, or members of the public will be directed to the Vice-Rector (Research). Such appeals will be considered by the Vice-Rector (Research) whose decision will be final.
