France-Canada Research Fund

The France-Canada Research Fund (FCRF) supports the development of scientific exchanges between both countries, in all areas of knowledge. Established in 2000, the Fund benefits from the financial contribution of 20 Canadian universities, including uOttawa, and a private sector company.

The FFCR funds collaborative projects between French and Canadian research teams. The funding ranges from $8,000 and $15,000 according to needs expressed by scientific team leaders.

A new competition is generally launched in July of each year with a deadline in November. Details can be found on the French Embassy’s website.
