The vision of the Medical Devices Innovation Institute (MDI2) is to establish Canada as a global leader in the research, development and commercialization of medical devices which meet targeted clinical needs to enhance healthcare for patients in Canada and around the globe.
MDI2 fosters collaboration among the key stakeholders to address targeted medical device needs, find solutions to sector specific barriers and challenges, and drives the development of leading edge innovative medical devices and talent, ultimately bringing innovative ideas from concept to clinical use around the globe.
