Daniel Krewski was unanimously chosen to receive the 2006 Innovator of the Year Award for founding the new spin-off company Risk Sciences International (RSI). RSI is a risk analysis and mitigation company responding to the post-market surveillance needs of therapeutics and diagnostics manufacturers. A joint venture between the University of Ottawa and a major U.S. health informatics company, RSI will deliver a suite of products to identify, quantify and communicate the risks of health products as completely as possible.
